Performs integrated computer programming, data analysis and software development for Intermountain applications. Includes maintenance of existing system and research/development for future systems and/or enhancements.
Confirms project requirements by reviewing program objective, input data, and output requirements with analyst and/or supervisor.
Arranges project requirements in programming sequence by analyzing requirements; preparing a work flow using knowledge of computer capabilities, subject matter, programming language, and logic.
Encodes project requirements by converting work flow information into computer language.
Programs the computer by entering coded information.
Confirms program operation by conducting tests; modifying program sequence and/or codes.
Prepares reference for users by writing operating instructions.
Maintains historical records by documenting program development and revisions.
Protects operations by keeping information confidential.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Creates and manages report library for end users
Education - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
Prior experience writing code for software programs required.
Java Programming and SQL experience required.
21 years of age
Current, identification card.
Eligible for DPS Level I fingerprint clearance.
Initial negative TB test result. (Employer provides)
