Performs integrated computer programming, data analysis and software development for Intermountain applications. Includes maintenance of existing system and research/development for future systems and/or enhancements.


  • Confirms project requirements by reviewing program objective, input data, and output requirements with analyst and/or supervisor.
  • Arranges project requirements in programming sequence by analyzing requirements; preparing a work flow using knowledge of computer capabilities, subject matter, programming language, and logic.
  • Encodes project requirements by converting work flow information into computer language.
  • Programs the computer by entering coded information.
  • Confirms program operation by conducting tests; modifying program sequence and/or codes.
  • Prepares reference for users by writing operating instructions.
  • Maintains historical records by documenting program development and revisions.
  • Protects operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Creates and manages report library for end users


  • Education - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience 
  • Prior experience writing code for software programs required.
  • Java Programming and SQL experience required.
  • Javascript experience preferred.
  • Regulatory
  • 21 years of age
  • Current, identification card.
  • Eligible for DPS Level I fingerprint clearance.
  • Initial negative TB test result. (Employer provides)
