  • Overview

    A longtime leader in the provision of therapeutic services, using an applied behavioral approach, Intermountain Centers/Behavior Consultation Services is expanding services to Northern Arizona communities.  This is a unique and exciting opportunity for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) who is interested in providing services to a broad population of children and their families within an Applied Behavior Analysis framework. This is a great opportunity to live and work in beautiful Northern Arizona. 


    The BCBA will work closely with other behavioral health staff in developing behavior plans for a variety of behaviors, ages and childhood/adolescent conditions. The BCBA provides assessment, creates behavior plans, consults on their implementation and works closely with behavior technicians in overseeing behavioral services provided in an integrated healthcare environment. The BCBA provides direct services in a variety of settings including physician offices, family homes, schools, community based locations and in-office settings. The primary responsibility of the BCBA is to conduct assessments, develop behavior plans, and provide consultation and training to others in the use of teaching and behavior intervention strategies.


    • Provides direct ABA therapy to children with Autism and other developmental disorders in the clinic, home, school, and community settings.
    • Conducts functional behavioral assessments/analyses.
    • Develops individualized treatment plans (e.g., goals, objectives, and interventions) and monitors client progress towards goals.
    • Provides parent, teacher, and staff training on the principles of ABA and behavior modification.
    • Conducts treatment fidelity assessments to ensure proper implementation of the behavior support plan.
    • Reviews behavior support plan for progress, analyses any barriers to the implementation; changes support plan if necessary and discusses this process with stakeholders.
    • Ensures maintenance of member records in accordance with agency and funding source requirements.
    • Ensures completion of progress notes using the appropriate covered service billing codes and writes comprehensive and timely reports as required by funding source and/or system partners.
    • Attends Child and Family Team meetings, Medication Reviews and team meetings as required.
    • Maintains an approved schedule and acceptable level of attendance.




    • Specified Master’s degree in a field related to Applied Behavior Analysis.
    • Certification in Applied Behavior Analysis from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.
    • Current licensure as an Arizona behavior health professional required/ or license eligible.

    Legal Requirements

    • CPR and First Aid certification (ICHD provides training).
    • Arizona Driver’s License, 39-month Motor Vehicle Report and proof of vehicle registration and liability insurance that meets insurance requirements.
    • Eligible for Level 1 fingerprint clearance.
    • A current negative TB test result (ICHD provides).

    Prefered Requirements 

    • Prior experience in providing clinical supervision in a behavioral health setting preferred.
