  • Overview

    A longtime leader in the provision of therapeutic services, using an applied behavioral approach, Intermountain Centers is expanding behavioral health and family support services to Northern Arizona.  

     

    This is a unique and exciting opportunity for a licensed Behavioral Health Professional who is interested in program development, management and coordination of designated programs across Northern Arizona. The Regional Director provides administrative leadership and assumes operational responsibility for all program operations in the geographic area.  The Regional Director is responsible for oversight of behavioral health and developmental disability services and performs program development activities in designing and implementing new programs and services to meet community and member needs.

    Responsibilities

    • Provides clinical support to multiple program areas and staff including outpatient, in-home and therapeutic programming for persons served.                               
    • Supervises and oversees the development of clinical assessments, individual client treatment plans, and treatment and service programs of the Region.
    • Reviews and signs clinical documentation (e.g. progress notes, assessments, service plans, treatment plans).
    • In conjunction with Human Resources Department, is responsible for the recruitment and retention of competent clinical and support staff.
    • With support from the Director of Human Resources is responsible for evaluation, promotions and discipline of staff within approved agency guidelines. Assesses and directs staff development.
    • Develops and monitors staffing patterns, and productivity to ensure standards of efficiency.
    • Supervises the activities of Program Supervisors and staff, and delegates appropriate assignments.
    • Develops and manages volunteer, intern and peer programs within service areas.
    • Participates in the agency’s total Quality Management Program, adhering to its tenets and objectives.
    • Directs, monitors, and evaluates services to achieve high quality outcomes
    • Participates in the development of new and existing programs, and implementation of marketing plans for Intermountain programs within the service areas.
    • Prepares program budgets for the service areas, and manages expenses within budgeted guidelines
    • Plans and coordinates fundraising and contract development efforts for the service area, with support from the Vice President of Business  Development

    Qualifications

    • Master’s degree in a field related to Behavioral Health or Applied Behavioral analysis.
    • 2-4 years prior full-time behavioral health or applied behavior analysis experience preferred
    • 2-4 years of supervisory/management experience preferred
    • Prior experience in program development preferred
    • Arizona Behavioral  Health Professional license required
    • CPR , First Aide and RBHA certifications/credentialing (ICHD provides training)
    • Minimum 21 years of age
    • Arizona Driver’s License, 39 month Motor Vehicle, vehicle registration and liability coverage that meets insurance requirements
    • Eligible for DPS Level 1 fingerprint clearance
    • Each staff member shall furnish on a prescribed form a current TB test (ICHD provides)
