  • Overview

    The HR Intern will observe and be observed directly by an HR Generalist or HR Director for Recruiting, Applicant Tracking and New Employee Onboarding.


    • Observes and then participates in recruitment events with HR Generalist
    • Observes iCIMS system management for Recruiting, Applicant Tracking and Onboarding; Microsoft Dynamics GP HRIS/payroll system and internal shared drive folder.
    • Observes HR Generalist, and then assists with reviewing applicants for qualifications.
    • Observes tracking of applicants in iCIMS through hiring and onboarding process.
    • Compiles reports, and processes onboarding documents under observation.
    • Observes New Employee Orientation (NEO).
    • Observes and then assists with processing of new hire documentation.
    • Participates in discussions regarding HR best practices, State and Federal regulations and laws related to hiring, recruiting and onboarding new employees, internships and contracts.


    • Education
    • High school/GED Diploma required
    • Current enrollment in a higher education program related to Human Resource management.
    • Experience – Prior work experience in an office setting preferred.

    • 18 years of age
    • Current negative TB test result (less than 6 months).
